We are seeking an experienced Night Porter to join our Nights team. The successful candidate will assist the Nights Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the Night shift.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working behind the scenes and providing exceptional customer service. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.

Main Duties:
  • Assist with the Night Audit using Micros/Opera Reservations system (Cash Balancing, Revenue Reports, Room Charges)
  • Prepare conference room setups
  • Ensure key hotel areas are staffed and operating smoothly during the Night Shift
  • Supervise all areas of the hotel during the shift
  • Oversee the duties of other Night Porters
  • Handle queries, complaints, or issues that arise during the Night Shift
  • Provide check-in/check-out services at Reception
  • Conduct regular security and fire safety checks, including drills
  • Attend scheduled department meetings
  • Maintain health and safety standards for yourself, colleagues, and guests
Requirements:
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience working as part of a Night team
  • Availability to work between 10 pm and 8 am
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexible, adaptable, and innovative
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
