Senior Automation Systems Engineer

Job Overview

As a Senior Automation Systems Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of automation control systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with requirements, execute comprehensive controls design documentation, and engage in full-cycle testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation control systems to meet business needs.
  • Lead comprehensive controls design documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Engage in full-cycle testing and validation, including simulation, debugging, FAT and SAT activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in a senior or lead role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotech or Medical Devices).
  • Expertise in Allen Bradley systems, including servo motion control and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP, IO-Link and other industrial communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with robotics and vision system integration is an advantage.

  • At least 5 years of post-graduate industry experience in Controls, Automation or Systems Engineering.
