Job Title: Reliability Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in improving asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimization of the site maintenance process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
  • Maintain and enhance our Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program, including vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses.
  • Analyse equipment history within our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the effectiveness of all maintenance efforts and reduce regulatory concerns.
  • Streamline and improve maintenance work, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment.
  • Benchmark other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques, implementing digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
  • Coach the planner and scheduler to ensure that PM/PdM services meet key metrics.
  • Comply with current Quality and EHS Management System requirements.
  • Lead and support maintenance projects, targeting improvements in Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree qualification, preferably mechanical or electrical.
  • +5 years of professional experience.
  • Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in an industrial environment or within a specialized consultancy.
  • Ability to analyse and identify trends and patterns.
  • Knowledge of CMMS highly desirable.
  • Analytics experience with maintenance data can be an advantage.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

This role will operate within our Engineering Centre of Excellence (CoE) and work closely with colleagues within the IPT (Integrated Production Team).

The Reliability Expert will provide expert advice on improving Equipment Reliability, Risk Based Asset Management, and Cost Management, acting in a consultative fashion to assist with equipment issues.
