Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the hospitality industry and is passionate about delivering exceptional events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter event information into the system 14 days prior to an event.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure resorts meet our high standards.
  • Create and update client profiles, including their preferences and requirements.
  • Build relationships with clients and work closely with sales teams to develop new corporate accounts.
  • Provide weekly forecasting reports to the resort management.
  • Host pre-conference meetings and communicate site inspection results to operations staff.
  • Update reservations daily and chase potential business leads.
  • Collaborate with chefs and sommeliers on menu requirements and wine list updates.
  • Compile catering calendars and produce reports on lost business opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury or 5-star hotels.
  • A proven track record of converting leads into bookings.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
