About This Role:

This position is responsible for providing expert quality assurance support to operations, ensuring that operational goals and objectives are achieved.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvements to ensure predictable processes across shipping and boxpack processes.
  • Provide effective QA support to operations to meet their area's objectives of quality, cost, and output.
  • Ensure all process variables and their interactions are adequately defined.
  • Identify and address all failure modes in the process.
  • Implement plant-wide quality system improvements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in the area of responsibility.
  • Provide functional expertise to other support functions on quality-related issues.
  • Implement statistical techniques to monitor process performance.
  • Approve change requests for product, process, and quality system changes.
  • Investigate customer complaints and identify trends.
  • Validate processes, products, and test methods.
  • Compile required regulatory documentation.
  • Review MRB trends and identify corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing across the site.
  • Transfer and implement products and processes from development or another manufacturing facility.

 

Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technology is required. Additionally, at least three to four years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent with direct experience in a QA environment is necessary. Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
