Job Description

The role of the Project Manager Electrical Site is to oversee site-based activities and lead teams of Electrical Engineering trade professionals on site. This includes tracking and recording daily site activities, as well as leading teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  2. Management of day-to-day site operations
  3. Coordinating site activities to ensure work is completed efficiently
  4. Ensuring plant materials onsite meet agreed specifications
  5. Managing Quality Control against approved benchmarks
  6. Managing subcontractor activities, including progress tracking and damage notices
  7. Participating in look-ahead meetings and subcontractor meetings
  8. Liaising with health and safety to ensure work is completed safely
  9. Staying abreast with housekeeping and material storage management
  10. Liaising with clients and departmental managers for timely delivery and effective handover

This project is a CAT-A commercial fitout in Dublin 3. It is a fast-paced environment, and the person will play a vital part in the smooth-running of the project.

Working closely with the project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of the project, including management of day-to-day site operations, coordinating site activities, and ensuring that all work meets quality and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Trade-qualified or construction-related qualification
  • 2+ years' experience on a large-scale project as an Electrical Project Manager or other supervisory role
  • Strong organisation and management skills
  • Ability to manage time, drive productivity and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
  • Interpersonal skills with willingness to work independently and as part of a wider site team
Benefits

You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate between €35 to €45 per hour. These are typically paid for 40 hours per week, and you will be paid for any overtime hours worked.

This comes out to approximately €70,000 to €90,000 when converted to an annual salary. You can choose whether to opt for PAYE or self-employed status.
