Healthcare Assistant Role in Bettystown/Laytown

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Healthcare Assistant. This role involves providing high-quality care to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as mobility and transportation.
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for clients.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and caring individual who is cheerful, positive, and dependable.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and their own car.
  • Experience in providing care in the home is essential.
  • A Level 5 QQI Healthcare qualification (or equivalent) is required.
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo Garda clearance.
  • Suitable character references are necessary.
  • Permission to work in Ireland is also required.
  • Fluent English language skills are necessary for effective communication.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rates starting at €15.50, depending on experience and qualifications.
