
Revenue Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and signing revenue contracts with customers, as well as advising Sales & Legal on revenue implications and collaborating with auditors on AR and revenue-related matters.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate financial reporting, identifying areas for process improvement, and driving efficiencies through strategic initiatives. You will also play a key role in enhancing systems by partnering with business systems teams to improve AR/revenue function and monitoring key metrics (DSO, bad debt, billing satisfaction).
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong background in public accounting and technology companies, with experience working with Sales, Legal, Revops, and Accounting teams. You should also have in-depth knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and experience with SaaS revenue and billing is preferred.
Responsibilities- Review, approve, and sign revenue contracts with customers, focusing on non-standard terms and revenue impact.
- Advise Sales & Legal on revenue implications to customer contracts and suggest alternatives.
- Collaborate with auditors on AR and revenue-related matters.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Help oversee an offshore AR team (billing, collections, cash application, credit assessment).
- Enhance systems by partnering with business systems teams to improve AR/revenue function.
- Monitor key metrics (DSO, bad debt, billing satisfaction).
- Drive efficiencies through process improvements.
- 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and technology companies
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent)
- Experience working with Sales, Legal, Revops, and Accounting teams
- In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15
- Experience with SaaS revenue and billing is preferred
- Experience working with offshore teams is a plus
- Experience in Salesforce, Zuora, Revpro, Netsuite is a plus
