Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Centre Management Team in Connacht, Ireland.

About the Role

This is a key position that will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day management of our residential Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that enable young people to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • To implement Placement Plan objectives for young people and ensure they receive agreed quality and quantity of services.
  • To work closely with the Centre Management Team to promote a positive culture within the organisation.
  • To take charge of the Centre in the absence of the Person in Charge or Deputy Manager.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the care sector, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Relevant qualifications in healthcare, nursing, social work, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of care practices, protocols, and regulatory requirements in the care sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Proficient in documentation and record-keeping, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-oriented approach to care.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience working with young adults and children with intellectual disabilities and mental health support needs.
