**Project Overview:**

Civil engineers play a pivotal role in the infrastructure development industry. Their work involves ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

As a civil engineer, you will be responsible for setting out detailed works based on contract drawings, conducting regular site inspections, and overseeing the accurate establishment of level and survey control.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all work is completed defect-free and meets project deadlines.
  • Setting out detailed works based on contract drawings, conducting regular site checks.
  • Overseeing the accurate establishment of level and survey control for contracts.
  • Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities where possible.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including site diaries, allocation sheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Addressing and resolving technical challenges that may arise unexpectedly.
  • Developing and managing procurement schedules, liaising with the procurement team to secure necessary resources.
  • Promoting best practices across all site operations.
  • Establishing a safe working culture and enforcing high safety standards.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Upholding environmental sustainability across all activities.
  • Driving a strong customer focus throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Min. Third-level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Min. 2-3 years site-based setting out experience.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, Environmental and legal regulations.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual with a positive attitude.
  • Experience of temporary work coordination a benefit.
  • Proficiency in MS Project.
  • Valid Safe Pass/SMSTS/MSIC certification.
