Job Title: Billing Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Billing Operations Specialist to join our client's finance department in Cork. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity covering all aspects of billing and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure new contracts on the billing system.
  • Collect meter readings by email and phone, issue spreadsheets for current readings to multiple users.
  • Issue service invoices to customers on a weekly basis, depending on whether it's a monthly or quarterly contract.
  • Liaise with analysts to set up and cancel contracts.
  • Submit meter readings on a monthly basis.
  • Unwind contracts as required.
  • Annual upload of all contracts in the billing system, as required.
  • Assist with customer information, volume details, billing queries, etc.
  • Work as part of a team and assist with ad hoc reports required by the Financial Controller.
  • Resolve customer billing queries.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable/Billing or other related finance roles.
  • A structured and organized approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel.
  • Experience with Sage and Vantage software is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic role meeting strict deadlines.
