This is a part-time receptionist role that requires a professional and welcoming individual to manage the front desk of Bridhaven Nursing Home. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff.

The role involves handling inquiries, maintaining accurate records and supporting residents and staff in a respectful and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for drafting and issuing correspondence on behalf of management staff as required.

You should have previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in elder care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with older people in residential care, convalescence and transitional/respite residents. We offer training opportunities to support career development within the role.

Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and residents in a warm and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Draft and issue correspondence
  • Answer phone calls and transfer messages
  • Provide administrative support to management and nursing teams
