Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Facilities Support

About the Role:

\

We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our facilities support team. As part of our multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our assets, building fabric, services, and estate.

  • \
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and life cycle programme requirements to ensure quality and safety standards are met.\
  • Maintain and maximise use of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and complete works within agreed timeframes.\
  • Promote good working practices and contribute to achieving quality, safety, and environmental accreditation.\
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.\
  • Identify, replenish, and control equipment spares.\
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks on doors, furniture, fixtures, and appliances.\
  • Investigate problems and propose solutions.\
  • Carry out minor repair, carpentry, painting, and janitorial duties.\
  • Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance job.\
  • Maintain building fabric, floors, and ceilings.\
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties; Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms etc.\

  • Excellent problem-solving skills\
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems\
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces\
