
Senior Business Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Growth Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and profitability for our manufacturing operations in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with current and new customers, anticipating their needs and driving sales growth. This includes managing and growing relationships with Foodservice and Wholesale customers in GB and Ireland, achieving sales targets and KPIs as defined by management, and understanding the monthly/annual requirements of each customer to raise issues internally through regular Sales meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing relationships with Foodservice and Wholesale customers in GB and Ireland
- Achieving sales targets and KPIs as defined by management
- Developing trusting relationships with customers and ensuring they are managed effectively to retain and grow their business
- Dealing with customer issues as they arise, ensuring swift resolution for the customer
- Working cross-functionally with all departments to ensure customer needs can be met
- Understanding the Company's pricing methods and how new clients are established and existing client contracts are renewed
- Gathering, reporting, and communicating customer feedback on service, product, and delivery
- Attending relevant trade shows to promote and sell the Company's brands and products and gain new customers
- Responsible for relevant annual contract renewals
- Getting involved in market research and new product development projects
- Conducting market research to improve our offer and match competitors where relevant
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous sales experience in business development or account management in FMCG
- A willingness to travel extensively in GB and Ireland as required and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach
- A results-oriented mind-set, highly numeric, and the ability to interpret data/costs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including rapport and relationship building
- Service-oriented, polite, friendly, and diplomatic
- Ability to generate ideas and identify new opportunities
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Computer literacy, Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, Skype, Zoom
- A full UK/Irish driving license
Desirable qualifications include experience in the Foodservice and Wholesale channels in GB and a 3rd Level qualification in Business/Marketing.
