Dynamic Product Development Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Structural Heart & Aortic Engineering team, where you will play a key role in the development of innovative medical devices. As a Process Development Engineer I, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement cutting-edge technologies and processes for the manufacture of medical devices.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading process development activities, including the development of manufacturing technology, automation, vendor management and project management. You will use design, reliability and manufacturability methodology (DRM) and 3-D drawing to develop best-in-class technologies, equipment and processes for the manufacture of new medical device product ranges.
You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute and deliver on new product development requirements. This includes executing process development, characterization and validation activities to support new product introduction.
In addition, you will utilize your skills in six sigma tools, project management and technology development to solve technical problems. You will compile, document and present all learnings to project and functional teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in engineering or science with a minimum of 1 year's relevant direct experience within a medical device environment
- Dynamic team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of medical device processes and product design
