Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid role located in Cork, Ireland, and it's a contract position that will last for 11 months.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Cork.

  • This role requires a strong knowledge of protein chemistry and analytical techniques such as separation, ELISA/Bioassay methods, method validations, method transfers, and equipment qualifications in a GMP environment.
  • You will be responsible for performing laboratory experiments to deliver on project timelines.
  • This role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including method optimisation and troubleshooting.
  • You will be required to prepare documentation associated with the projects in accordance with GDP (good documentation practice) and site procedures.
  • As part of this role, you will lead and participate in cross-functional projects, problem-solving teams for troubleshooting, and investigations across the site.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and approving technical documents, procedures, CAPAs, change control, deviations, metrics, etc.
  • High-quality standards must be adhered to at all times.
  • This role also involves providing multidisciplinary analytical support to the Analytical Sciences team.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' industry experience working with separations and ELISA/Bioassay in a QC/Analytical role group.
  • Demonstrated success in a team environment, such as project teams and problem-solving teams.
