Key Fishmonger Role

We are seeking an accomplished fishmonger to deliver exceptional products and services to our valued customers while embodying the brand.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure precise de-scaling, removal of bones, gutting, cleaning, and filleting of fish using cutlery and powered equipment.
  • Prepare and portion fish & seafood to ensure a wide range of quality products are available.
  • Exhibit passion for every sale, ensuring opportunities to satisfy the customer have been explored.
  • Maintain proper storage of fish at all times and conduct temperature checks on the product, recording data in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Select products to meet customer requirements while highlighting facts & benefits of the product.
About You:

Our ideal candidate has prior experience working in fast-paced sales or kitchen environments. They possess strong knowledge of margins, discounts, waste, and shrinkage to maximize profit from each sale. The candidate should also be aware of current market trends and competitors' offerings.

Excellent merchandising skills, teamwork, leadership, energetic personality when interacting with customers, great communication skills to confidently convey product stories, reliability, hard work, and customer focus.
