Job Description

The Global Data Lifecycle Management Lead will oversee the development and implementation of global lifecycle management strategies within a data governance team. This position is critical for managing personal data across its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

This role involves developing scalable processes that reduce complexity and align with global regulatory requirements. It also entails translating legal and compliance requirements into actionable workflows, promoting data minimization strategies, and addressing inefficiencies or risks tied to data retention, classification, or disposal.

The successful candidate will own and manage a data mapping automation module, creating and maintaining centralized data flow inventories and mapping structured and unstructured data across the company's global data environment.

  • Develop and maintain Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) processes that reduce complexity and align with global regulatory requirements.
  • Translate legal and compliance requirements into actionable processes and workflows.
  • Promote data minimization strategies and address inefficiencies or risks tied to data retention, classification, or disposal.
  • Own and manage the data mapping automation module, creating and maintaining centralized data flow inventories.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in privacy management, data governance, or lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience in ensuring data retention, classification, and deletion workflows are adhered to.
  • Expertise in data integration techniques, with the ability to connect privacy platforms to enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated success in deploying automation solutions to streamline data lifecycle operations.
  • Expertise in OneTrust Data Mapping Automation, including designing data flow diagrams and optimizing compliance reporting processes.
