Job Title: Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Support Specialist.

About the Role:

This role will involve providing administrative support to the management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our community. You will be responsible for a range of activities, including financial management, HR functions, payroll, and rosters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage petty cash for all departments across the community.
  • Prepare purchase orders and invoices for approval.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • HR Functions:
  • Support recruitment and advertising of vacancies.
  • Assist with shortlisting and interviewing candidates.
  • Onboard new staff and maintain personnel files.
  • Manage leave and sick leave records.
  • Track induction process and ensure completion.
  • Payroll & Rosters:
  • Process fortnightly payroll and submit weekly time and attendance details.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and queries.
  • Assist with staff rotations and rostering.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
