**Front Office Leadership Role**
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have strong operational awareness, excellent guest service standards, and the ability to lead from the front.
This is a dynamic position that requires the successful candidate to oversee daily front desk operations including guest check-in/check-out, room allocations, and reservations. They will be responsible for leading and training the front office team to uphold service standards and SOPs.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with housekeeping to ensure timely room availability and guest turnaround. They will respond to guest enquiries, feedback, and issues in a professional, solution-focused manner.
In addition, they will support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of reception team members. They will promote in-house facilities and local attractions to guests and maintain departmental admin, reporting, and rota planning.
The Front Office Manager will attend daily and weekly HOD meetings, supporting the wider management team. This is a great opportunity to shape and grow the front office function in a beautiful West of Ireland location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of daily front desk operations
- Leadership and training of front office team
- Liaison with housekeeping
- Guest service and issue resolution
- Recruitment and training of reception team members
- Departmental administration and reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager in a hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems (Opera preferred)
- Excellent English, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to guest experience, organisation, and team motivation
