Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Day-Time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Galway.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen management.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to high standards.
  • Supervise and motivate kitchen staff during peak hours.
  • Support menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
  • Maintain stock levels, ordering, and ensure proper food storage and rotation.
  • Adhere to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up.
  • Experience in a café, bistro, or high-volume casual dining setting preferred.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • A passion for fresh, seasonal, and high-quality food.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-focused environment.
  • Currently living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
