Job Opportunity

  • Import and export customs declaration specialist sought to manage all customs clearance procedures.
  • Process imports/exports – generate import/export declarations/SADs, conduct thorough due diligence checks, escalate where needed.
  • Run activities associated with processing customs documents, deal with customs authorities daily.
  • Ensure accuracy of entries and VAT/excise/duty calculation, resolve queries/refunds immediately.
  • Effectively resolve issues, delays, propose solutions to improve clients' experience.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection process, provide feedback.
  • Manage customer authorisations, ensure correct clearance procedures followed.

Requirements

  • Experience of Customs procedures essential.
  • Customs software skills, such as Thyme IT, required.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, communicate effectively.
  • Quick and accurate data entry skills, strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent MS Word & Excel skills.
