Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize device designs to meet performance goals.
  • Design, build, and test prototypes, analyzing data to inform solutions.
  • Create detailed drawings using SolidWorks software.
  • Select suitable materials and assembly methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration.
  • Work closely with vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including protocols and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 13485 and QMS standards.
Requirements
  • Honours degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in medical device design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, with Autodesk Fusion expertise a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and QMS standards.
  • Experience in material selection and design validation.
