Job Description

This role is responsible for ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc queries from stakeholders. The ideal candidate will partner closely with commercial and product leadership from across the Casino Business to identify useful insights, drivers of growth, and opportunities to improve the player experience.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Casino Analytics team, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights leadership to identify opportunities to use qualitative customer insights to drive and complement quantitative data research.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in Product teams and become a key voice in using data to define feature success, drive product development, and influence roadmaps.
  • Develop a multivariate testing approach for relevant areas of the Product, from design, implementation, results, to recommendations for next steps.
  • Drive the integration of data insights into the Casino Product roadmap, from product conception through implementation and beyond.
  • Act as a hands-on analyst, creating regular and ad hoc insights. Gather and present metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence over time.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years' proven experience in an analytics role, with at least 2 years managing analysts.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong SQL proficiency.
  • Proficiency in a statistical programming language, such as R or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience in data analysis or mathematical model development, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts.
  • Ability to partner closely with engineers and stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.
  • Strong executive presentation and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused, highly outcome-oriented, and data-driven, with experience working in high-growth environments.
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving, with strong organizational and communication skills.
