Store Leadership Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for a seasoned retail professional to take on a Store Management role in a thriving retailer with a strong commitment to excellence.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient store operations and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Setting, monitoring, and achieving sales targets on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with senior management.
  • Implementing planograms accurately and maintaining the correct product range.
  • Managing employee rostering, annual leave, and maintaining accurate staff records.
  • Engaging regularly with senior management to report progress and align on objectives.
  • Maintaining merchandising and store presentation to the highest standards in line with planograms and brand guidelines.
  • Fostering open communication between staff and management in a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace.
  • Resolving customer queries professionally and in line with company policy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management role.
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets.
  • Strong experience in reading, interpreting, and acting on business reports.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • A strong work ethic, passion for grocery retail, and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
