Job Description

The Supervisor plays a vital role in leading by example, inspiring teams, and fostering a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive efficient shop floor operations to maximize customer service, sales, and profitability.
  • Support management in personnel, product, and merchandising functions, ensuring seamless business processes and results.
  • Participate in regular meetings and communicate effectively with staff.
  • Clearly promote marketing and sales initiatives to staff.
  • Motivate the team to exceed sales targets while delivering an exceptional store experience.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere by treating customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
  • Support team members in achieving business goals, providing training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
  • Achieve personal sales targets: sales vs budget, sales per hour, and units per transaction.
  • Manage store opening/closing functions and oversee sales floor operations.
  • Emphasize the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure repeat customer growth through exceptional customer service.
  • Implement 'door-to-floor' best practices, reviewing visual merchandising directives for sales floor and back room consistency.
  • Collaborate with management to develop talent pools for key positions, including potential successors.
