Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Strategist will be responsible to develop, implement, and drive the sales strategy for machine builders by leveraging all of Advanta, DI (including DI SW), SI, Mobility competencies as well as ecosystem partners.

This role requires identifying C-Level decision-makers, building strong strategic relationships, becoming a trusted and valued partner, and advisor to client CXOs and key stakeholders.

The candidate must establish a pipeline and lead sales pursuit teams to engage clients and win relevant deals for Siemens and Siemens Advanta, driving closure of sales including negotiations for Advanta projects in the respective vertical market segment across EMEA.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role would require at least 10+ years of proven experience in customer-facing roles in service and/or solutions-focused professional services, consulting, system integration environments with industry focus: Machine Builders.

The ideal candidate should have existing customer relationships and networks across the industry, domain know-how in the industry to ensure industry-specific proposal and use case development, and understanding of technology stack including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT, and AI.

Able to engage at C-level or board level and build strong professional networks and relationships across all seniority levels, this individual should also possess an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to build something new under uncertainty.

Strong leadership and experience in working with cross-functional teams and driving cross-projects in a matrix organization are essential.
