Order Support Specialist

If you are looking for a dynamic opportunity to apply your customer service and sales skills, this role may be the perfect fit.

This is an onsite position in Shannon, Ireland. We have multiple openings available.

  • As our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle direct customer contact by phone and email, including order contracts, quotations, and referrals.

  • You will assist with implementing sales solutions that improve the customer experience and provide order assistance and support to customers.

  • The primary function of this role is to maintain awareness of production and other factors affecting scheduling and delivery of orders.

  • We are seeking someone who can edit customer orders for accuracy, availability, and assign schedule dates to orders.

  • Additionally, you will review and coordinate implementation of changes and updates to sales orders.

  • Apart from maintaining accurate records, you must work well in a team environment and know about internal and external customer relationships.

  • Our ideal candidate must have good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Foreign language skills are desirable.

  • Ability to provide direction and establish priorities for less experienced team members to ensure departmental performance, as required.

  • Experience within an office environment and manufacturing complex is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle direct customer contact by phone and email
  2. Provide order assistance and support to customers
  3. Maintain general awareness of production and other factors affecting scheduling and delivery of orders
  4. Edit customer orders for accuracy, availability, and assign schedule dates to orders
  5. Review and coordinate implementation of changes and updates to sales orders

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service or sales experience in a technical area of a company
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
