Technical Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for technology and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to employees through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions.

You will manage and resolve a wide range of IT issues, from basic hardware and software problems to complex system issues, ensuring timely responses and resolutions for all incidents and service requests.

Collaboration with other IT teams and external service providers will be essential to resolving complex issues and problems.

In addition, you will perform essential IT tasks such as user onboarding and offboarding, asset management, and system maintenance.

Handling user access and identity management, ensuring security protocols are followed and audit requirements are met, is also a key responsibility.

Maintaining and updating our asset and configuration management databases (CMDB) in line with company policy will be another important aspect of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT service desk or support role.
  • Experience with SLA management and a strong understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online).
  • Experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software issues.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users.
