Material Program Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Material Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the USM (Used Service Material) team, ensuring delivery of high-quality service and achievement of business objectives.

About the Role

The successful Material Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting the USM materials team to foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Monitoring performance and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Reporting program performance to senior management.
  • Managing purchasing, sales, and stock of materials effectively to meet business needs.
  • Identifying new product opportunities and revenue streams to drive growth.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance material programs and drive business success.
  • Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A third-level qualification in Business or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of the MRO sector.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a material trading role.
  • An entrepreneurial outlook with a proactive approach to growth.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend trade shows.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations with professionalism and tact.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical ability, with experience using data to drive improvements and revenue.
