We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our team as an Accommodation Assistant.
Job Description:
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms daily to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the day.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor promptly and handle guest belongings with care and respect at all times.
Public Areas & Hygiene
- Ensure all public areas including hallways, staircases, lifts, and guest lounges are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety throughout the day.
Linen & Supplies Management
- Manage linen trolleys and ensure stock levels of towels, linen, and guest supplies are maintained at all times, reporting low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Assist in laundry duties when required, collecting, sorting, or folding linen.
Guest Interaction & Support
- Greet guests courteously and respond to any requests or queries in a helpful manner, informing the appropriate department of any guest complaints or feedback.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all Health & Safety policies, using cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with training and guidelines.
- Wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a similar environment is essential, along with a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, good time management skills, and flexibility to work various shifts.
Working Hours:
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
