Residential Groundworks Manager

A well-established construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Foreman to oversee the delivery of civil engineering projects in South Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential groundworks, infrastructure development, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil works, including groundworks, utilities, roads, and drainage.
- Manage direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Monitor site progress, report daily activities, and attend site meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards.
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure works are carried out to plans.
- Liaise with engineers, site management, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain quality control and oversee inspections and testing as required.
- 5+ years experience as a Civils Foreman on residential or civil engineering projects in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, road construction, and underground services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Full clean driving licence.
