eir evo Technology Group is a market-leading provider of IT infrastructure services, with over 400 employees operating out of offices in Ireland and Auckland. We offer a full end-to-end approach to servicing clients' IT requirements under one provider.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor policies and alerts for several systems and services, including Hypervisors, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Palo Alto Firewall, Windows Servers, HP/Dell Server, and Storage solutions.
- Perform first-level event correlation and filtering to ensure events that require support personnel intervention are acted on.
- Investigate and diagnose Infrastructure and Application alerts, establishing details of request/incident, confirming impact, and identifying any events that may have been a contributing factor.
- Resolve and recover from incidents, identifying potential resolutions, applying resolution, testing, and verifying.
- Escalate and coordinate Tickets to other ICT teams or 3rd parties where required within a defined SLA.
- Improve and maintain documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to the team.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of ITIL Framework and ISO 20000.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Azure, Hyper-V, VMware) and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
