Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Overview:

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the procurement and delivery of materials from suppliers. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer service targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure production/inventory/MRO items in a cost-effective manner.
  • Analyze requisitions to determine quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
  • Select and manage suppliers to fulfill scheduled plant deliveries.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and safety stock.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues with suppliers.
  • Analyze and select parts for KanBan and Supplier replenishment.
  • Lead and direct others to accomplish desired organizational objectives.
  • Expedite deliveries to meet and exceed scheduled critical requirements.
  • Maintain material plan at the time fence to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Resolve invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting.
  • Analyze material and capacity availability to provide customer promise dates for sales orders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in planning/buying manufacturing.
  • APICS (CPIM) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Considerable knowledge of industry-related supply base.
  • Skilled in production and supplier scheduling.
  • Computer proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
