Executive Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced Executive Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and lead a team of culinary professionals in our busy 4-star hotel.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to manage menu development, supervise food preparation, maintain high standards of food presentation and quality, and ensure HACCP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Management: Assist the Head Chef in managing menu development and seasonal updates to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Food Preparation: Supervise food preparation for breakfast, carvery, bar, restaurant, and events to meet customer expectations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality through regular inspections and tastings.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee stock ordering, inventory control, and weekly stocktakes to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain a safe, hygienic kitchen environment by implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or busy food service environment.
  • HACCP trained with knowledge of food preparation, industry trends, and kitchen operations.
  • Proven ability to train and develop staff, with excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
