Industrial Cell Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cell Lead to lead our manufacturing cell in Shannon. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving output and fulfilling all functions related to the production of manufactured products.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture batches in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including filling, capping, and sealing as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and conduct calibration and checks as per schedule
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean principles
- Manage waste management and ensure correct storage before disposal
- Communicate with team members on material requirements
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain housekeeping within the cell
- Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with colleagues for quality control and planning
- Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and capacity
- Train and mentor production operators and technicians
- Lead daily performance meetings and contribute to cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Third-level science qualification in chemistry or relevant discipline, or minimum ordinary level degree
- Three+ years' experience in high-quality manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge and experience of batch chemical manufacturing, ISO17025, and Good Laboratory Practice
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
