Senior Financial Controller Role for Experienced Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Cork, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in controllership and financial management, with a strong background in US GAAP accounting policies and procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a specialist controllership function, overseeing the ACE region and managing key aspects of monthly and quarterly reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with entities within the ACE region to provide guidance and support on US GAAP accounting queries.
  • Attend month-end flux review calls to ensure open issues are addressed.
  • Review new contracts to identify potential revenue recognition impacts.
  • Conduct specific country balance sheet reviews and follow up on action items.
Key Requirements:
  • Significant experience in controllership and financial management.
  • Big 4 trained with ACA or equivalent qualification.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience with a track record of delivering results.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
