A high-performing Greenkeeper Leader is sought to oversee golf course maintenance, lead a team, and implement turf care programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining the golf course to a consistent standard.
  2. Leading and directing the greenkeeping and course maintenance team.
  3. Implementing agreed turf care programs.
  4. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, weather conditions, and turf health.
  5. Providing input into course maintenance strategy and budget planning.
  6. Managing the course maintenance budget in liaison with senior management.
  7. Implementing sustainable practices into golf course management.
  8. Maintaining machinery and equipment to safety standards.
  9. Implementing course improvement projects.
  10. Maintaining high standards for Health & Safety and Environmental Protection.

Qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in golf course maintenance with supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
  • FETAC Level 6 or higher in a relevant qualification with continuing professional development evidence.
  • Energetic worker with high attention to detail and excellent IT skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and course maintenance equipment.
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • Able to work physically demanding outdoor roles in various weather conditions.
