We are seeking a Head Chef to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

  • Manage the kitchen, ensuring efficient food preparation and production that meets the high standards of our care home.
  • Supervise a team of staff, motivating and training them to maintain HACCP and hygiene standards.
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to meal plans, taking into account residents' dietary requirements.
  • Team Management: Supervise and motivate staff, allocating duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • HACCP and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of HACCP and hygiene throughout the kitchen and mini-kitchens.
  • Stock Control: Conduct regular stock takes and order goods using the purchase order system.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a nursing home kitchen, leading a team and maintaining HACCP and hygiene standards.
  • Skillset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, and passion for elder care.
