Product Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative product formulations that meet industry and ISO standards.
  • Enhance existing formulations through thorough research, testing, recording, and reporting.
  • Drive laboratory advancements and analytical capabilities to support the development of new products.
  • Promote and implement sustainability initiatives within product formulations to minimize environmental impact.
  • Participate in the entire product lifecycle from development to customer trials and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with customers during tender stages as required to ensure mutual understanding and successful project execution.
  • Maintain adherence to the central lab quality management system and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of laboratory procedures and SOPs for external audits and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing a new R&D database to enhance knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Identify and propose improvements for continuous process enhancements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Support laboratory functions within QC, Bacteriological, and Chemical labs to ensure accurate record-keeping and high housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with safety and regulatory requirements on site to ensure a safe working environment.
