Traffic Operations Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a Traffic Operations Specialist to join our team in Galway and the West of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing all site-based traffic management activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with complex traffic management schemes on both rural and urban roads networks.
- Attending regular site meetings with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Following complex TM CAD drawings and designs.
- Surveying and designing traffic management schemes to produce TM plans while considering associated risks and traffic counts.
- Maintaining excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in a traffic management environment.
- Trained and qualified in temporary traffic management.
- Full driving license.
- Flexibility for weekend working.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround environment.
- Good knowledge of online systems.
- Sector scheme 12D qualification preferred but not essential.
