Job Title: Social Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Social Care Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a community-based setting. They will also have a working knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience in adhering to National Standard policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with independent living skills and integration into the community
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

  • FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
  • 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
