Business Development and Product Innovation Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, developing innovative product offerings, and nurturing client relationships.

About the Role

This hybrid role combines business development and product innovation responsibilities. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing innovative product offerings that meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging sectors.
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and meet revenue targets across Ireland.
    • Build strong relationships with contractors, engineers, consultants, and procurement teams.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
    • Deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to prospective clients.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and other internal teams to tailor customer solutions.
  • Product Innovation
    • Lead the research and introduction of new products aligned with market needs and sustainability goals.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to expand and optimise the product portfolio.
    • Monitor customer feedback, compliance requirements, and innovation trends to guide development.
    • Conduct competitor analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation.
    • Oversee product testing, certifications, and compliance documentation in collaboration with technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction, or a related discipline, with minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or product management.

You should have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as a strong commercial awareness and results-driven approach.

A high level of integrity, drive, and initiative is also essential, along with proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
