Job Title: Sous Chef

Key Role Summary

We seek an experienced and driven culinary professional to lead our kitchen team.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in operational management of the kitchen.
  • Contribute to menu planning and seasonal dish development, enhancing our offerings.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships, ensuring seamless logistics.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP compliance throughout the kitchen.
  • Ensure efficient, professional service delivery, aligning with our esteemed reputation.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a reputable kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills to drive kitchen operations forward.
  • Creative flair and passion for working with seasonal produce to deliver innovative dishes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP principles and thorough understanding of kitchen safety protocols.
