Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Custom Development Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of bespoke software solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate custom software development projects across multiple departments and teams.
  • Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
  • Oversee internal and external development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Ensure projects are delivered using up-to-date development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor developers as needed.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, reporting status updates to the Head of IT.
  • Assess and implement tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure solutions are robust, secure, scalable, and meet defined quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Project management or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP).
Background: Background in developing or overseeing enterprise-grade applications or platforms.
