Job Title: Airfreight Export Coordinator

This is a dynamic and challenging role, requiring an experienced professional to oversee the management of airfreight export bookings from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring shipments throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and payment. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process airfreight export bookings, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Monitor shipments from booking through to final delivery and payment, maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with airlines to secure optimal rates and transit times, leveraging industry knowledge to drive results.
  • Liaise with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth collection and processing of shipments, minimizing delays and inefficiencies.
  • Label freight accurately for export, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Handle invoicing (sales and purchase), resolving any related queries and providing clear explanations.
  • Respond to rate requests and prepare quotations, presenting detailed information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the development and enhancement of airfreight services, contributing to business growth and expansion.
  • Communicate effectively with overseas agents and partners, fostering strong relationships and driving collaborative outcomes.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide holiday cover within the operations office as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Offer administrative support to colleagues in the airfreight department, assisting with tasks and projects as required.
  • Participate in occasional customer visits, representing the company and building rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned to support the team, embracing new challenges and opportunities.
