Day Service Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our day service team and deliver high-quality support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
  • Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of New Directions, person-centred supports, and HSE standards.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily operations and contributing to service development.
  • Supervising and supporting staff teams, ensuring effective performance and development.
  • Fostering partnerships with families, multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and community stakeholders.
  • Promoting inclusion, independence, and advocacy for service users.
  • Monitoring and improving service quality, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
