Job Description:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of assigned country payroll services. They manage vendor relationships and respond to payroll operations queries.

This role interfaces with business partners, Compensation, Savings Plan & Benefits, Financial Shared Services General Accounting, as well as our outsourced payroll providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all payroll operations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop process improvements related to payroll delivery
  • Provide payroll query support in a timely manner and follow up with vendors or escalate to the Regional Payroll Lead
  • Utilize global payroll tools and prepare payroll calculations to ensure proper payroll processing
  • Function as a subject matter expert for time and attendance
  • Facilitate governance processes used for analysis and approval of payroll work requests and projects
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards to understand the impact on payroll calculation
  • Coordinate with Outsourced Service Provider regarding all policies, programs and processes related to payroll
  • Work with the HR Service Delivery Team to ensure service provider is achieving SLAs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee queries via the CRM, adhering to KPIs and delivering high-quality customer service
  • Analyze the delivery impact of HR management policy changes on the service provider and BMS Payroll operations
  • Aid in overseeing the implementation of payroll system solutions for acquisitions
  • Interface with Total Rewards COE to identify and address administrative needs related to global compensation and benefit programs
  • Apply expertise to produce solutions that enable global consistency and standardization and facilitate exceptional performance
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge in payrolls, staying current on trends and best practices
  • Interface with payroll and benefits vendors, as needed, to ensure compliance with established procedures

Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Spanish payroll; Spanish language will be an advantage
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Experience with end-to-end payroll processing including time management, leave administration, registration, pay processing, payroll taxes, reporting, and handling payroll queries and issues from employees
  • Able to effectively communicate and work with a diverse group of people
  • Skilled in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Workday, ADP Celergo and SAP end-user experience
  • Previous experience working in a Shared Services environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of Payroll, Payroll Tax, and Payroll Accounting and related end-to-end processes

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented, complex environment

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Workday, ADP Celergo and SAP
  • Software proficiency: MS Office, especially Excel
  • Language skills: English, Spanish (advantage)
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
