Senior Mental Health Professional

A senior mental health professional is required to work with the children's disability network team in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
The role involves providing a range of psychological services, including assessment, diagnostics, programme implementation, and behavior management. This includes running parent training courses and working with families to develop effective strategies for supporting children with disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a busy caseload
- Work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family-centered practice approach
- Supervise staff-grade psychologists and trainee psychologists
Requirements:
- University degree or diploma in psychology with 1st or 2nd class honours
- Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland
- At least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology
- Competence in working with children with disabilities
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience providing clinical supervision to psychologists and/or trainee clinical psychologists
