Job Title: Cost Controller

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team.

  • Manage and record goods deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of materials and accurate documentation.
  • Record R&B costs into the General Ledger System, maintaining precise financial records and adhering to accounting procedures.
  • Adhere to cost control procedures, creating new procedures where necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Update costings regularly, analyzing data to inform budget decisions and ensure financial prudence.
  • Conduct regular R&B revenue and cost audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Review purchasing procedures for all R&B items, negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive prices and improve supply chain efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including general ledger systems and cost control procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models.
